I am a proud Indigenous woman working as an Enrolled Nurse in the Cherbourg community outside of Murgon. I am outgoing and my passions are my family, my community and my nursing work. I have worked for Queensland Health for many years and am a very active delegate. I have worked closely with members and the QNMU to ensure safety of staff in my workplace including increased security staff and lighting at my workplace.
As a delegate at Cherbourg hospital I am extremely active and well versed in the rights of members and staff when dealing with management. If elected, my voice on Council will be through the lens of the Enrolled Nurse, regional and community nurse and as a First Nations woman.
Our QNMU Members United Team has a track record of success, a plan to keep nursing and midwifery strong, and we’re asking for your vote.
